Winchester Quakers meet for worship every Sunday
at 9.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. except on the first Sunday of the month
when the one meeting is held in the adjacent parish hall at 10.00 a.m.
There is also a half-hour meeting on Wednesdays at 12.30pm followed by
a simple lunch.
Children’s
Meeting: During the meeting at 9.45 a.m. of the first Sunday of
the month and during the meeting on the other Sundays at 10.30 a.m. Two
members of the meeting are in attendance.
Directions: On foot - 3/4 mile from
Railway Station; approach from Broadway, rear of Abbey Gardens.
By car - There are several
carparks nearby. There is limited parking by the Meeting House.

About Us:
The Meeting House was formerly the Rectory for St Lawrence's Church and
was built in the late 18th century. It is set within a beautiful walled
garden. Winchester Quakers have for many years made their facilities at
the Friends Meeting House available to community, voluntary and
educational organisations for meetings, classes and other functions.

current contribution rates. The Meeting House is also home to the
warden and seven other residents. Bed and breakfast is sometimes
available.
