Petersfield Local Quaker
Meeting
There has been a small Quaker
meeting in
the Petersfield area since about 1935.
However, at the Preparative Meeting held on Sunday 26th October 2008
the following Minute was recorded:
It is with great sadness that,
as there are only three active members,
it has been agreed to ask Area
Meeting to lay down
Petersfield Meeting
at the end of the year 2008.
This was agreed by Area Meeting in November 2008. There is therefore
now no Local Quaker Meeting in Petersfield.
Petersfield Friends have a choice of relocating to another Local
Meeting or Area Meeting.
